We are located just one mile west of Interstate 35 at 10913 Johnson Drive.  Take the Johnson Drive exit and go west one mile.  The pet office is just to the west of The Amos Family Funeral Home on the south side of Johnson Drive in downtown Shawnee.  We are very convenient for those who are coming from the west, southwest, north, and northwest, also.  Simply take the Johnson Drive exit off of Interstate 435 and go approximately four miles east.  Our office is located just a block east of Nieman Road in Shawnee.  Give us a call at (913) 631-7314 to set up an appointment and meet in our pet office.

  What makes your cremation services different?

  First of all, we are the only pet crematory in the Kansas City area operated by a funeral home. You will be working with funeral professionals. Some of the same people who work with our pet services work with our human services. We believe that you will find us to be more professional and better able to accommodate any special requests.

  What if my veterinarian’s office says they can take care of the cremation?

  The Amos Family works with some of our local veterinarians, but not all. The biggest difference is that the level of service you will receive from the Amos Family will be far superior. Your pet’s cremated remains will be available to you in a couple of days. In many cases, we can have the cremated remains ready that same day.

  What if my pet dies at home?

  When a pet dies at home, there are two options. You can call 913-631-7314 and arrange for a home pick up 24 hours a day, or you can bring your pet to us during business hours. The cost of a home pick up ranges from $50.00 to $150.00 depending on the time of day. Additional mileage fees may apply. Go to the "Our Prices" page for more information.
