In addition to urns, we have a number of personalized memorial products to honor your pet.  You can have a pendant made with your pet’s paw print.  We also have memorial blankets, pillows, purses, and totes that are made from your pet’s photograph.  We can arrange to have your pet’s ashes placed in an artificial reef to be placed in the ocean, helping to promote marine life.  Below are some pictures of the many items we have available.  Call us at 913-631-7314 for pricing or to set up an appointment to see the items in person.

    What makes your cremation services different?

    First of all, we are the only pet crematory in the Kansas City area operated by a funeral home. You will be working with funeral professionals. Some of the same people who work with our pet services work with our human services. We believe that you will find us to be more professional and better able to accommodate any special requests.

    What if my veterinarian’s office says they can take care of the cremation?

    The Amos Family works with some of our local veterinarians, but not all. The biggest difference is that the level of service you will receive from the Amos Family will be far superior. Your pet’s cremated remains will be available to you in a couple of days. In many cases, we can have the cremated remains ready that same day.

    What if my pet dies at home?

    When a pet dies at home, there are two options. You can call 913-631-7314 and arrange for a home pick up 24 hours a day, or you can bring your pet to us during business hours. The cost of a home pick up ranges from $50.00 to $150.00 depending on the time of day. Additional mileage fees may apply. Go to the "Our Prices" page for more information.
